DEGREES OF REIKI - Maureen J. Kelly

The book discusses the reiki therapy in a very easy to understand way. It starts with the basics of reiki and then goes on to cover the four degrees/ levels of reiki. In the first degree it explains the why, what and history of reiki. It talks about the origin and the intention of each of reiki level II symbols. The third level and the masters level when to do them and what to expect. There are certain very detailed suggestions on the uses of crystals. All in all a good book on reiki for Level I and II practitioners of reiki wanting to study further in reiki.

ESSENTIALS OF REIKI - Diane Stein

This one is again a very comprehensive book on reiki healing and process of initiation. I would say a must read book for advanced students of reiki.

REIKI FIRE - Frank Arjava Peter

A very basic book on reiki, just in case the reader wants to know why he /she should learn reiki, the essentials involved in reiki/ and what can he expect from reiki.

LIVING WITH HIMALAYAN MASTERS - Swami Rama

Autobiography of a yogi - Paramahansa Yogananada The two books are based on the life of two legendry spiritual figures. The book takes the reader on a journey through their lives of spiritual enlightment and the importance of a guru disciple relationship.

AWARENESS - Osho

A very important book on the most desired quality of awareness. An essential book on understanding the phenomenon of witnessing (awareness).

KUNDALINI - Pandit Gopi Kishan

An account of the accidentally awakened Kundalini, makes for an interesting read.

THE POWER OF MANTRA AND THE MYSTERY OF INITIATION - Pandit Rajmani Tigunait

An informative book on the use of mantras in meditation and the science behind the technique.
