Reiki as we all have heard commonly is a hands laying technique to heal self and others. Animals and humans have always needed to be touched in times of pain as well as pleasure. The reiki healing is given by keeping hands of the healer at certain predefined positions and additionally those points where the intuition of the healer guides. Reiki is characterized by reiki sensations in the hands of the healer. The sensation can be warm, tingling, cool or pulsating.
